Ayda Hornak and Jake Edwards trial of Charles Poliquin's BioSignature Modulation with Assassin PT's trainers Lana Chapman and Larissa Watt
Week Three Results
Results:
Girls ruled in this weigh-in with Ayda winning in body fat loss and weight loss!
Ayda: lost one kilo and 1.6% body fat
Jake: lost a half of a kilo and 0.8 % body fat!

Unlike many other co-workers Jake and Ayda are now getting used to regularly taking off their clothes to measure their progress.

Jake has been following the diet very strictly and has cut out all sugar (besides the occasional coffee), has switched to eating meat at every meal, has stopped eating processed food (cereals, bread, etc) and has almost completely cut carbs out of his diet.

As you can all see from Jake’s back, he is getting more definition in his arms and back.

words to live by, check out Jake’s video and you will see it is not all fun and games, it takes work to get results

The Environmental Working Group (EWG) put together a list of the twelve foods with the highest level of pesticide residue so you can pick and choose which fruits and veggies to buy organic.
The Clean Fifteen are fruits and veggies that have the lowest amount of pesticides. You will notice that most of these have skins or coverings (like onions) to protect the fruits and veggies inside.
Part of the BioSignature project is to eat foods that are less likely to contain pesticides and added hormones (hence Jake’s high estrogen level). But if like many of us, it is too expensive to buy completely organic, this list helps to narrow down the most important fruit and veggies to buy organically.
They even have an app for both lists so you can have the list handy at the supermarket!

It Begins…

As Friday approached both Jake and Ayda prepared to be measured. Out came the calipers and off came clothes to find out their measurements. (Pictures and videos to come soon).
Jake weighed in at 93.5 kilograms and 17.5 percent body fat.
After prodding, calculating and fat grabbing it was established that Jakes “Top Three Things to Work on” were:
1. Estrogen (and we thought it was only a girl problem ;) )
2. Cortisol
3. Insulin
Ayda weighed in at 54 kilograms and 22.8% body fat
1. Estrogen
2. Androgen
3. Sleep
Both Ayda and Jake were sent home with homework to do…
Take a stomach acid test
Eat meat for breakfast everyday… dark to light meat is the best option…
